Deal seafront and the old town (CT14)

The core round. The old town's Georgian streets sit inside a genuine conservation area, narrow twittens threading between the houses, cable runs and external fixings need a lighter touch here than on a modern estate, and often formal consent. Deal Castle and the pier draw steady visitor footfall along the seafront most of the year, so doorbell motion zones need setting tighter than a quiet residential street.

• Deal town centre, high street and residential streets just back from the seafront.
• Mill Hill, residential streets on the western edge of town, mixed older and newer housing.

Walmer and Kingsdown (CT14)

The coastal stretch south of Deal, towards where the cliffs start rising on the way to Dover. Salt air and onshore wind shorten the life of budget camera housings fast here, and Walmer Castle draws its own steady visitor traffic.

• Walmer, seafront and residential streets around Walmer Castle, similar exposure to Deal's own seafront.
• Kingsdown, village where the coast starts climbing towards the cliffs, highest weather exposure on the round.

Sholden, Great Mongeham and Ringwould

Inland from the seafront, sheltered from the direct coastal weather but with the same long-garden and outbuilding pattern that makes Wi-Fi reach worth checking properly rather than assuming.

• Sholden, village on the edge of Deal, mixed older and newer housing.
• Great Mongeham, village a short drive inland, mostly houses with generous gardens.
• Ringwould, small village between Deal and Kingsdown, rural boundaries and outbuildings common.

Our standard round runs from Deal out to Walmer, Kingsdown, Sholden, Great Mongeham and Ringwould, comfortably covering CT14. Anything further out (towards Dover or Sandwich) we will take on request, travel time will show in the quote. If you are inside the area above, we are your local installer.
